Microsoft Outlook 2003 E-mail Configuration

To setup your Microsoft Outlook 2003 e-mail client, follow these steps:

Open your Microsoft Outlook Express . Click on Tools and then on E-mail Accounts... to open the E-mail Accounts window.



In E-mail Accounts window select the option Add a new e-mail account . Click Next.



Now in Server Type choose POP3 and click on Next



In the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) page fill in all the required information:
  • Your Name: type your full name as you write it on a letter.
  • E-mail Address: your TerraNet e-mail address.
  • Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.terra.net.lb
  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.terra.net.lb
  • User Name: your username at TerraNet. Note: your User Name is the first portion of your email address.
  • Password: remember that the password is case sensitive.
    Put a check mark next to Remember password.


Do NOT check Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA). Click on Next



Now click on Finish to end the wizard.



Your Microsoft Outlook 2003 is now well configured to send and receive emails. You can click on the button Send/Receive to start receiving your emails.
